RSNA 2023 Brands and Topics Cognitive Map

A cognitive map is an interactive visual exploration of how different brands and topics are interconnected, offering insights into their relational dynamics and market positioning. The cognitive map is generated using the igraph and visNetwork R packages powered by generative pre-trained transformer topic modelling.

How to read the cognitive map:

The bigger the dot, the more mentions a brand or topic has. 

The thicker the lines between dots, the "closer" two topics are - the more often they are mentioned in relation to one another

What you can do with the map:

To filter related topics by brand double click on its dot or choose it from the drop down menu in the upper left corner. To go back and see all topics, click anywhere on the white space.

Roll the mouse wheel to zoom in or out for more details.

Click and drag dots around to improve readability.
